November 2025 Leakfix Newsletter: European Trip Planning & VersiFrame® Accessibility Focus

ALL THINGS WATERPROOFING - NOVEMBER 2025

Hi all,

Please find our monthly roundup, based on our activity in November. We will also share a few tips and tricks, and talk about some interesting products.

WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING?

November was a very busy month for Leakfix. Firstly we were busy installing membranes. Secondly we were planning our trip to Europe to meet some of our partners and expand both our product and service range.

Leakfix will be in Europe between December 26, 2025, and January 23, 2026. Give us a shout and let us know if you would like to meet up for a coffee or a beer and tell us about your products or services; we would love to catch up with you. Contact Jakub at jakub@leakfix.com.au.

PRODUCTS/SYSTEMS

The topic of maintainability and repairability in waterproofing systems has been a long-standing point of focus for me. Having analyzed various waterproofing failures and reflected upon my own past missteps, my core conclusion remains: despite our best efforts, human error in execution is an unavoidable reality. This belief drives my conviction that superior design must anticipate these errors and integrate a clear plan for addressing them when they inevitably occur.

It's for this reason that I was highly impressed with the Elmich VersiFrame® system, which was recently installed by a builder over our waterproofing membrane on a plaza deck. While the system delivers a truly stunning and appealing finish, its most crucial feature is the access it allows to the underlying waterproofing system. This ability to inspect and repair the membrane as needed is, frankly, every waterproofer's dream come true. See a short video taken under the frame here.
